Dr Andrew Dallimore  BMSc, DVM

Head of Client Relations | General Practitioner

Andrew started his employed and voluntary journey in a range of human care fields including youth work, caring for people with disabilities, aged care, and not-for-profit organisational management. Despite some tragedies and significant challenges early in life, with the support of some wonderful people in his life, he rekindled his childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. At the age of 29 he graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne after studying Medical Science at Flinders University in South Australia.

During his study he worked as a veterinary nurse and continued youth work and caring for people with disabilities. In his early career as a veterinarian, he became a guest lecturer at the University of Adelaide in life skills for new graduates; helped manage three successful practices; managed the training in Australia and New Zealand for paperless workflow technology; became a Head Veterinarian; started a successful veterinary practice consulting business; and now also works alongside Dr Leon Warne and Sue Crawford with the development and management of The Vet Pharmacist.

Andrew is an active father and partner, enjoys mentoring, being a mentee, Judo, working with recycled timber, camping, reading and mountain biking. Both inside and outside of his work he actively promotes equality, mental health and sustainable environmental management. He is passionate about holistic chronic pain management in pets and takes pride in working alongside pet parents to improve the quality of life of their pets.
